Mud Season in VT

Jonathan and I walked down to get the Sunday
paper this morning. I decided to snap a few pictures of the spring thaw in all it's beauty. Ha! Ha!

Potholes are plentiful. This is a fairly small one at
the bottom of our driveway.

Our parking spaces are slightly muddy. You can see the ruts left by the last car to park here.

Not only do we have mud, but clay also right in
the middle of our drive. A few years ago a UPS
truck got stuck in this very spot. It took my
brother on a large John Deere tractor to pull
him out.

Yeah, Vermont's Spring is pretty muddy, but it has a distinct "spring smell" that I miss.

All that moisture...
I'm missin' it!

Kelly! It is great to "hear" your voice even if it is diluted through the blogosphere! You are enjoying the huge sky. That is what I remember most from New Mexico, after the wind and the dryness! I also missed the color green.
